Centenary BRM400: Abu

BRM stands for Brevet de Randonneurs Mondiaux, which is a series of long-distance cycling events organized by Audax Club Parisien (ACP) and its member organizations worldwide.

The BRM400 is designed to test the endurance and cycling abilities of participants. It is a challenging ride that requires riders to complete the 400-kilometer distance within a specified time limit (27hrs).

Participants in the BRM400 need to follow the rules and regulations set by the ACP and AIR (Audax India Randonneurs) body, which usually include mandatory checkpoints and time controls along the route. These checkpoints ensure that riders stay on course and complete the entire distance.

Riders often have to plan their strategy, manage their energy levels, and make use of self support and rest stops strategically to successfully complete the BRM400. It’s a demanding event that requires physical fitness, mental stamina, and a strong determination to push through the challenges of long-distance cycling.

The BRM400 is part of the Audax Randonneurs India (ARI) calendar and provides participants with the opportunity to experience the joy of long-distance cycling and explore scenic routes across different regions of India.
