Ride Completion Time Limits
200 Km – 13.5 Hrs
300 Km – 20 Hrs
400 Km – 27 Hrs

The rules:

1. No support vehicles allowed.
2. No Helmet no ride
3. Reflective vest/Front Light/Tail light Mandatory
4. No Udhaari of Registration fee.
5. Please carry spare tubes and Puncture Kits.
6. Please attempt only if you are physically and mentally up to it.
7. Please carry a small first aid kit along
8. Please carry sufficient hydration albeit you will get at Time stations
9. Reporting opens an hour before the brevet is signaled off for the following
1- Bike check
2. Brevet Card
3. Waiver Form to be signed

Riders are required to respect local customs with regards to decorum.

ACP, Audax India Randonneurs, other organisers, Cyclone Cycling club or Its representatives and their association, officials and volunteers cannot and do not accept responsibility for any accidents that may occur during the course of a brevet.

Earth Hour Awareness Ride

Event Description :

Cyclone Cycling Club (in short Cyclone) is planning to organise an EARTH HOUR AWARENESS ride on 28th March, 2015 from 6:00 AM onwards in Ahmedabad.

What is Earth Hour?
Earth Hour started in 2007 in Sydney, Australia when 2.2 million individuals and more than 2,000 businesses turned their lights off for one hour to take a stand against climate change.
On Saturday 27 March, Earth Hour 2010 became the biggest Earth Hour ever. A record 128 countries and territories joined the global display of climate action. People across the world from all walks of life turned off their lights and came together in celebration and contemplation of the one thing we all have in common – our planet.
Earth Hour 2015 will take place on Saturday 28 March at 8.30PM (local time).

To create awareness for the same, Cyclone plans to organise a cycle ride in the morning and spread awareness on the streets of Ahmedabad and convince maximum people to take part in the EARTH HOUR taking place on the same night i.e. Saturday 28 March at 8.30PM (local time) .

Cyclone will interact with morning walkers/citizens of the city outside ATIRA, Law Garden and Vastrapur in the morning hours (as per route and time as given below) and request them to take a pledge to support the EARTH HOUR by switching off lights for one hour.

Earth Hour Awareness Ride route and estimated time of arrival at various route points is as below:

6:00 AM – Assemble at Bopal Circle and rider briefing
6:15 AM – Start from Bopal circle
6:25 AM – Iskcon Cross Roads (go straight towards Shivranjni)
6:35 AM – Shivranjni Cross Roads (take left from Shivranjni Cross Roads)
6:45 AM – IIM Cross Roads (take right from IIM Cross Roads)
6:50 AM – ATIRA/AMA Gate
6:50 AM to 7:00 AM – interaction with morning walkers/citizens
7:00 AM – Leave ATIRA/AMA and head towards Ambawadi Circle
7:05 AM – Ambawadi Circle (take left towards Panchwati Char Rasta and head towards Law Garden)
7:10 AM – Law Garden Gate opposite ‘water tap’ circle
7:10 AM to 7:20 AM – interaction with morning walkers/citizens
7:20 AM – Ride straight towards Mithakhali six roads (take left towards Sardar Patel Sewa Samaj/Girish Cold Drinks)
7:25 AM – Girish Cold Drinks Cross Roads (go straight towards St. Xavier’s College/Passport Office)
7:35 AM – Passport Office/Tulsi Restaurant (head towards Panjrapole Cross Roads)
7:45 AM – Panjrapole Cross Roads (head towards Vastrapur Lake via IIM flyover)
8:00 AM – Vastrapur Lake – END
